The topic quickly changed to the > larger question of "what do people use i686 packages for?" As it turns out, I only use i686 packages to build kernel-tools. I am not sure why we didn't turn off kernel-tools for i686 when we turned off the kernel. I suppose someone could have been linking to libbpf or libtraceevent, though those have been separate packages for a while now. I actually had to turn off dynamic linking to libtraceevent because i686 would no longer build against it. _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam on the list, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure
