There's also the compat packages for older mutter versions, which I
need to create from time to time because mutter API contains breaking
changes every few months that upstream elementary OS developers aren't
always able to keep up with.

In this case, pushing the libwacom soname bump broke mutter3.38.
However, this now reminds me that the mutter 3.38 compat package isn't
actually needed any longer, so I've retired it.

In the future, it would be great if you could announce SONAME bumps a
week in advance of pushing updates to rawhide.
I am pretty sure that's the policy Fedora has for updates that bump
SONAME, but I can't find the docs for that right now.
