Since we now have Linux on smartphonesd, i heavily disagree with this assumption and advocate to expand the drpm usage.

Fedora on a smartphone is a very rare and niche case. It's something that can be considered, but should not be a driver for the distro's technology choices. Regardless, as the other points mentioned, I have not seen any significant download saving from it anyway.
