Hi Sundeep,

First of all I want to say thanks a lot for your contribution to sort the languages in Anaconda. Especially for me as Anaconda developer this is really handy feature.

I really like to see that you are thinking about the next improvement. I love to see that, however, please wait with these changes after F36 is released. Right now, it seems that we have to fundamentally change the code and logic for the keyboard switching because of

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2016613
and
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1955025#c6

So please wait with this change for F37. Sorry for slowing you down. On the other hand it's definitely fine to do the research now :).

Best Regards,
Jirka

Hi,

Even in native language anaconda majority of users prefer and choose US keyboard layout. This proposal[1] is to pull US layout at the top of the list.

User story: As a US keyboard layout user, I would like to be able to find the US keyboard layout in my own language quickly and easily in the Anaconda installer.

thoughts?

regards,
sundeep
