Hey all, I'm Maxwell Huang-Hobbs. I've been using fedora as my daily driver since 2015-ish and want to contribute to packaging. I've previously made contributions to nixpkgs when I was using nix-on-fedora, and I'm generally interested in packaging things that impact my setup. The thing that's spurring me to jump in now is a bugfix in xserver 1.20.12 [1] which isn't yet packaged for fedora. >From looking at the last time xorg-x11-server had a version bump [2], I thought I might be able to jump in and make the update myself. Fingers crossed the update is trivial and the patches still apply. Cheers, Maxwell [1]: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xorg/xserver/-/commit/0086535e7a331f81823a0f4e578bc3346ee1c312 [2]: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/xorg-x11-server/c/03bc044aa3dd8ebb5b4492ed039e936957e223da?branch=rawhide _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam on the list, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure
