The manager of that team told me that future announcements will be
sent to the bugzilla-announce-list[1], which is public. It was an
oversight that it didn't get sent this time.

Is that really the correct list? The last message I see in the archives of that list is from 2020-May, announcing 5.0.4-rh44, the original Open Source Red Hat Bugzilla. Latest release is -rh62. I would have expected to see all the releases announced there, plus maybe some other things not tied to releases.

I've submitted a PR[2] to
add this to the package maintainer docs.
