That's a random failure (of Fedora's HTTPS load balancer?). I always get 500
once in a few dozens of requests:

$ while wget -O /dev/null 'https://pdc.fedoraproject.org/rest_api/v1/'; do N=$((N+1)); echo "$N"; done
