[heads-up] evolution-data-server soname version bump in rawhide

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

	Hi,
the upcoming 3.41.2 release of the evolution-data-server next week will
contain a soname version bump of a libcamel library due to ABI changes.
A simple rebuild should be enough for the other packages.

According to `dnf repoquery --whatrequires libcamel-1.2.so* --alldeps`
there are these affected packages:

   evolution-0:3.41.1-2.fc35.x86_64
   evolution-bogofilter-0:3.41.1-2.fc35.x86_64
   evolution-chime-0:1.3-11.fc35.x86_64
   evolution-data-server-devel-0:3.41.1-2.fc35.i686
   evolution-data-server-devel-0:3.41.1-2.fc35.x86_64
   evolution-ews-0:3.41.1-2.fc35.x86_64
   evolution-mapi-0:3.41.1-3.fc35.x86_64
   evolution-pst-0:3.41.1-2.fc35.x86_64
   evolution-rspam-0:0.6.0-33.fc35.x86_64
   evolution-rss-1:0.3.96-7.fc35.x86_64
   evolution-spamassassin-0:3.41.1-2.fc35.x86_64

I have commit rights for all but the evolution-chime, which comes from
pidgin-chime package.

I'll create a side tag once the upstream release is done and I'll build
the packages there. Then I'll send it to this thread. I'd appreciate a
help with the pidgin-chime rebuild, to be able to merge the side tag
soon.
	Bye,
	Milan
