Hm, the package should probably also be renamed to coffeescript, because upstream renamed AFAIK

Thank you for looking into it. So far, I have pushed just the fixed version:

https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2021-f7598c56fc

because there is more things which depends on coffee-script:

$ sudo dnf repoquery -q --disablerepo=* --enablerepo=rawhide --whatrequires coffee-script
vim-syntastic-coffee-0:3.10.0-9.fc34.noarch

$ sudo dnf repoquery -q --disablerepo=* --enablerepo=rawhide --whatrequires js-coffee-script
rubygem-coffee-script-source-0:1.10.0-11.fc34.noarch

$ sudo dnf repoquery -q --disablerepo=* --enablerepo=rawhide-source --arch src --whatrequires js-coffee-script
rubygem-coffee-script-source-0:1.10.0-11.fc34.src

$ sudo dnf repoquery -q --disablerepo=* --enablerepo=rawhide-source --arch src --whatrequires coffee-script
perl-Mojolicious-Plugin-AssetPack-0:2.13-2.fc35.src

$ sudo dnf repoquery -q --disablerepo=* --enablerepo=rawhide-source --arch src --whatrequires 'rubygem(coffee-script)'
rubygem-actioncable-0:6.1.3.2-1.fc35.src
rubygem-coffee-rails-0:5.0.0-1.fc34.src
rubygem-sprockets-0:4.0.2-2.fc34.src
rubygem-tilt-0:2.0.10-5.fc35.src

So these would need some testing.

Hi,

coffee-script package was recently retired due to being orphaned and
FTBFS for some while. Since there are some other packages depending
on
it, I have decided to unretire it [1]. I have working package ready
(at
since F29):

Is here anybody, who would will to help with maintenance of this
package?

In the last few days I tried to keep the package.
Updating from 1.10.0 to 2.5.1 build fails with "Error: Cannot find
module 'jison'" but jison is retired since 2019-05 (1) so I guest it
will be hard .

this weekend I played with nodejs-packaging-bundler and I could build
nodejs-jison

Are you interested in resurrecting nodejs-jison? Why not to use the bundled version should this path to be chosen? And you have not used the Fedora version of uglify-js ...
