It seems like it would be worth having them. Unfortunately the patch numbers of the base patches clash with the ones for mingw-gcc, so to be neat we'd need to renumber the mingw-gcc ones. When you finish your build and it's in Rawhide then I'll see how hard it will be to add the gcc patches.
