Hey All, There is a recent proposal to replace the PulseAudio daemon with a functionally compatible implementation based on PipeWire[0]. This means that all existing clients using the PulseAudio client library will continue to work as before, as well as applications shipped as Flatpak. The test day [1] is to test everything works as expected. We are looking for specifically testing and reporting [2] the video conferencing platforms and wireless headphones [0] https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/DefaultPipeWire [1] http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2021-04-09_Audio_Test_Day [2] https://testdays.fedoraproject.org/events/108 -- //sumantro Fedora QE TRIED AND PERSONALLY TESTED, ERGO TRUSTED _______________________________________________ test-announce mailing list -- test-announce@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to test-announce-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/test-announce@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam on the list, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam on the list, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure
