Hi, I think "--with-arch=" should be "rv64g" for gcc without compressed instruction support, because the default is RV64GC[0]. If you want to rebuild gcc for compiling linux applications, I think "--with-newlib" should be removed . If you want to rebuild gcc for compiling both 64-bit/32-bit linux applications, "--enable-multilib" should be added. I have tried to build gcc as a cross-compiler from upstream repo[1], but I have never rebuilt gcc srpms. In addition, I am not an expert of gcc/RISC-V.
