Hello,

My friendly co-maintainers pushed https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/stratisd/c/32d87697075a846f9a3feb9ee66058287a91ccde?branch=master <https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/stratisd/c/32d87697075a846f9a3feb9ee66058287a91ccde?branch=master> that claims that it makes spec compatible with RHEL (ignore parts that they violate packaging guidelines).

However, it might make it RHEL compatible but for sure not ELN compatible. Moreover, I am not aware of any announcements that ELN SIG wants to not have any rust-* packages for RHEL 9.

Side note: Don't hold a grudge against the co-maintainer, they might have been told that this is the way. I suppose that if changes like this have been promoted internally, I'd be arguing to have a conversation in Fedora instead, without success.
