I have an open bz about reliable wayland crashes:

Besides being very inconvenient because of course they take the entire
session with it, such crashes can usually be leveraged to achieve code
execution, and if the behavior can be triggered by remote data, RCEs.
Therefore, I would argue it is a serious issue.
Basically, the crash is triggered by excessive resource usage that can
be seen via xrestop. Unfortunately I was unable to debug the issue: the
GTK+ forest overwhelmed my capabilities ('callbacks, callbacks,
everywhere').
This is an old bug currently assigned to gnome-session. Should I
reassign it to Wayland?
