Do you have a relatively new laptop with a Intel bluetooth adapter, something like AX2xx series? If so it might be this issue [1] in conjunction with the 5.9 kernel, I can't tell if the problem was resolved but there seems to be a workaround [2] search for IdentityResolvingKey for the relevant bit.
