Dataprotection issue with Thunderbird 78.3+

BZ#1890433

Hi,

As some noticed, Mozilla devs changed the prefs of TB and while they are
on it, forced all 78.3+ to enable telemetric data transmission as per
OPT-OUT.  Part of the transmission is the domainname of any mailaccount
present in this installation.

As domainnames can be AND ARE! firstlastname.tld, this is a violation of
the GDPR in the EU.

An official complaint against Mozilla Foundation has been filed today
for unlawful processing of personal data.

I urge any maintainer for TB to disable this option and push a new
package out to stop this, before it gets to a pandemic scale.

Several complaints against this behaviour have reached me from the
german Linux community with testimonials, that the telemetric
transmission was off before the update. Other distros have been reported
as also enabling this option by default, so i guess no maintainer
noticed the change in the dataprotection notice. If your connected with
them, please inform them.

best regards,
Marius Schwarz
Germany
