HEADS-UP: Side-tag updates in Bodhi

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I just want to inform / remind that pushing side-tags updates in Bodhi
for releases composed by Bodhi itself (F31, F32 and F33) is currently
slightly broken. The update gets created, but it's never really pushed
to testing and remains in "pending" state.

This will hopefully be fixed in the next Bodhi release (the fix has
already been merged into master branch), but for the moment you need to
manually set the request to push the update to testing.
This can be done, after the update has been created, by webUI, selecting
"actions -> push to testing" from the top right menu next to the update
title (in the update view page), or by CLI, with something like `bodhi
updates request UPDATE-ALIAS testing` (where update alias is something
like "FEDORA-2020-1eaffe0013").

I have just pushed some of those stuck updates to testing, in the hope
to have made something pleasant.

Mattia
