I initially planned to file a bug report but it was already automatically done on https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1863394 and https://bugzilla.redhat.com/buglist.cgi?bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&classification=Fedora&component=darktable&list_id=11382514&product=Fedora&product=Fedora%20EPEL

Rather than duplicating the ticket, asking a question for updates on the mailing list seems quicker. Maybe some proven packagers can land their hands addressing the bugs.
