Today it doesn't work at all. > Chrome does not have the same issue. Given this field only has a few options and doesn't have any Ajax involved it's pretty strange it would have any issues. If you want to try and work out what is going on you need to have the javascript debugger window open, then when it lags click the pause button and see if you can get a call stack. Hopefully that would indicate what is going on.
