I seem to remember Sun added all sorts of provides to its own rpm. Maybe the jre is providing xml-commons, gcj-compat the jre bit, and rpm considers there's no reason at all to keep the sun package (yet another reason not to use Sun rpms - they've never been tested with yum in mind) -- Nicolas Mailhot
