I think he built binutils-2.35-8 with the broken binutils. WHat needed to happen was to build the fixed binutils without LTO, get that into the buildroot, then build again with LTO re-enabled. I can't seem to post to fedora-releng. Can you ask someone to untag 2.35-8.
