No it's not. Your key/value file must be updated in Git. Otherwise it
won't remember previous release bumps. You seem to want to do the commit
after building instead of before, but it's still a commit to Git that
changes only the release number and the changelog. My idea is a way to
*not* do that commit, neither before nor after building.
