Sorry about the ip confusion, the log files were generated on two different machines. The drop-in in the attachment works fine for me. I know nothing about a Wants=network-online.target, only that the configuration files that come with Fedora do not always work. I posted it to the devel mailing list because nobody is there at the initscripts-devel mailing list. I've already tried that for the postgresql server that didn't want start either.
