I fully agree with the benefits, however I do not like the approach. Why not to teach DNF system-upgrade about special flag (like --remove- unmaintained-packages) that will take installed packages, available packages and remove those that do not exist in the target repo?
I also think this is better than the proposed change. However, if we cannot have this yet, maybe the change is the best we could get now? That said, without 100 % automation, the proposed system is not manageable either. -- Miro Hrončok -- Phone: +420777974800 IRC: mhroncok _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
