How did you get your Fedora on that Surface if grub does not work?

It will install fine, just not boot. Now when I say install "fine" I can't choose the installer at boot, I have to boot windows then do:
Updates & Security -> Recovery -> Advanced

Let it "shutdown" to the chooser screen and pick the whatever the alternative boot option is.

I have seen Pro 3 to Pro 7 Surface tablets running Fedora.. so you
should be able to do so too. My Pro 4 works great now.

It may work if I wiped it, but I want to dual boot.

than switch it off. I have run my Fedora for ages without secure boot..
no big deal. But be carefull not to swipe your boot device out of
existence.. it's a real hassle to get it back :D

Well, it's disabled, but all that does is allow systemd-boot to load...

Thanks,
Richard
