I think that sounds great.

How about:

#1 Introduction to RPM: based on the introductory magazine posts[1,2,3].
#2 Packaging walk through: setting up the environment, and a simple hello world package?
#3 The package review process: submitting the package for review, getting it approved, building in Koji, pushing an update.

What do the package maintainers think? Anyone interested in taking on
one of the screencasts/videos? The marketing and classroom teams will be
able to help with the recording and other bits.
