It should largely depend on either your personal interest in this tool and
whether you are aware of anyone still using it to compose music with it.
There have been many, more capable music tracker editors since the original
one from 1987.

There has been a v1.0.1-pre1 release for GTK2 in February 2020 (as update
for the 1.0.0 release from Dec 2019) while Fedora's package is stuck at
0.6.8 for GTK1. There is a branch for GTK3, too. Either one could help
with the FTBFS issue in case you want to keep this tool alive.
