Unfortunately, I don't think it would be an appropriate
update for Fedora 31.  And update from 1.5.6 to 2.0.10 would
cause some package builds to break and that would be
needless pain for maintainers on F31 -- particularly those
who might need to push an important bugfix or security
update.

It was unfortunate that we missed the window to get the
2.0.10 update into Fedora 31 before it was released.
Hopefully things will stay closer to upstream going forward.

My main interest in asciidoctor stems from using it for
building Git's documentation.  Upstream Git has done some
great work to make asciidoctor well-supported as an
alternative to asciidoc in the past few releases.  I
switched the Fedora git packages to asciidoctor recently
(even on Fedora 31 with its older asciidoctor release).
