Hi Ivan. Ivan Chavero wrote: > Are there any plans to upgrade the spec file of rubygem-asciidoctor for > Fedora 31 to the 2.0.10 version? Unfortunately, I don't think it would be an appropriate update for Fedora 31. And update from 1.5.6 to 2.0.10 would cause some package builds to break and that would be needless pain for maintainers on F31 -- particularly those who might need to push an important bugfix or security update. It was unfortunate that we missed the window to get the 2.0.10 update into Fedora 31 before it was released. Hopefully things will stay closer to upstream going forward. My main interest in asciidoctor stems from using it for building Git's documentation. Upstream Git has done some great work to make asciidoctor well-supported as an alternative to asciidoc in the past few releases. I switched the Fedora git packages to asciidoctor recently (even on Fedora 31 with its older asciidoctor release). -- Todd
