Hi all,
I'm working on updating the gssdp and gupnp stack in rawhide from 1.0.x
to 1.2.x. This brings a bunch of API changes and dependent packages need
rebuilds/version bumps to be able to continue building against new gupnp.
I'll rebuild and update most of the dependent packages, but some are
going to be FTBFS after I land this and are going to need fixing from
maintainers.
Sorry for the disruption. I held this off as long as possible to give
time for upstreams to accept gupnp 1.2 patches to avoid making a mess in
rawhide.
Here's a list of affected packages:
$ dnf repoquery --whatrequires 'libgssdp-1.0.so.3()(64bit)'
--whatrequires 'libgupnp-1.0.so.4()(64bit)' --disablerepo='*'
--enablerepo=rawhide -s
caja-extensions-1.24.0-1.fc32.src.rpm
dleyna-connector-dbus-0.3.0-6.fc32.src.rpm
dleyna-core-0.6.0-6.fc32.src.rpm
dleyna-renderer-0.6.0-6.fc32.src.rpm
dleyna-server-0.6.0-6.fc32.src.rpm
farstream02-0.2.8-7.fc32.src.rpm
gssdp-1.0.3-4.fc32.src.rpm
gupnp-1.0.4-3.fc32.src.rpm
gupnp-igd-0.2.5-8.fc32.src.rpm
gupnp-tools-0.8.15-4.fc32.src.rpm
libnice-0.1.16-8.fc33.src.rpm
meiga-0.4.3-15.fc32.src.rpm
rygel-0.36.2-5.fc32.src.rpm
'meiga' from that list looks like it's dead upstream. I'd suggest its
maintainers retire it.
OK, I'm all done with the gupnp stack updates and everything is merged
into rawhide now. All dependent packages are rebuilt/fixed, with the
exception of 'meiga' (maintainers CC'd). I'm not going to fix meiga
myself as it looks like a dead package to me. My recommendation for the
maintainers would be to retire it in rawhide.
