Unannounced / hidden SONAME bump in telepathy-qt (f32+f33)

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi everybody,

The recent update from telepathy-qt 0.9.7 to 0.9.8 did not change the
file name of one of the included shared libraries, but an SONAME and
the associated automatically generated Provide of the RPM package
changed:

from libtelepathy-qt5-service.so.0()(64bit)
to libtelepathy-qt5-service.so.1()(64bit)

Now, some packages in fedora 32 and rawhide have broken dependencies,
including ktp-common-internals (maintainers in CC).
