Upstream has been informed, but they're just too busy to fix it at the
moment. It isn't a simple enough issue for me to fix either,
unfortunately. I'll have another look this week.

I think nineml is a leaf package that isn't affecting other packages.
So, could we please leave it with the hope that upstream will be able to
look at it sometime soon? Otherwise, we'll have just retire and
un-retire it when upstream does eventually get to it.
