There is a PR submitted that fixes most the issue but also changes the way email
archives are checked and making that feature not working (the last time I've
tried it).
I'll try to get some time, maybe next week or the following one to clean it up
and update it a bit.

Oh there is an easy answer for that: nobody did it :)
I was afraid that was the answer... If it can be made to work again, maybe it should be included in the fedora-packager package.
Following network graph of forks [1] we got the latest changes here [2] . About add it to fedora-packager , seems to me a excellent idea.
