However, I do think the package should either be updated to a non-EOL version right now, or orphaned for the time being as to not let users install this ancient version that they'll never be able to update.
Unfortunately, I don't have time to chime in myself at the moment, but I did some work on getting version 13 packaged early last year, maybe that's helpful for further work: https://github.com/LorbusChris/nextcloud-rpm
