I may be wrong, but it seems to me the usual plaintext by default
system wide policies regarding name resolution is what drives some
famous applications to bypass system altogether, perhaps overboard
from other perspectives (e.g. in steep contrast with crypto limits
unification, whereby not abiding the system policies is deemed bad
