Self-Introduction: Christopher Engelhard

Hi all,
since I recently submitted my package for sshguard [1] for review [2],
this is probably a good time to introduce myself (some of you might
remember me from the packaging list). I'm also looking for a sponsor,
assuming the package is positively reviewed.

I"m Christopher, 35yr old, from Germany originally but living in the
Netherlands. I"m a scientist and write mostly octave & some python code
for data analysis, so I'd consider myself more of a script-wrangler than
a developer, but I follow - and occasionally submit patches to - a
number of other open source projects, including sshguard.

About the package:
sshguard is a log-monitoring service that blocks brute-force attempts on
common services, similar to fail2ban. It"s not as freely configurable as
the latter, but supports most common services out of the box and
requires little to no configuration. Additionally, it supports pretty
much any blocking backend one might think of.

Best,
Christopher
