Off topic here, but:

Try 'look america /usr/share/dict/words'.
Then read the man page about the -f and -d flag.
Then see the dict file and find that it is not sorted with the default (-f) 
look assumes for the user dict file.

I can't decide if the dict is wrong, or the look default...
