I'm in the minority here as I have only one computer which supports AVX2, so I 
would benefit from it, but even then, I wouldn't want people not being able to 
update anymore because their hardware is too old. Maybe dial the proposal back 
a bit, for example, target instructions supported by Celerons and Pentiums?
