I would kind of expect over time that other packages would be excluded
from 32bit i686 because there is little use for them, but this is that
first step to getting there. Clearly the world is not ready for
killing off all 32bit, Ubuntu has even supposedly reversed their
decision there, but a lot of things can go away without ever being
noticed when you aren't booting a 32bit kernel.
