That's why OpenMandriva switched to multiversioned packages for Lx4. The experience managing kernel packages in Debian, Mageia, and other distributions that do it the way you propose make things very difficult and annoying. openSUSE's multiversion packages are slightly more complex since they are also multi-flavor (without multiple flavors) and are technically invalid EVR-wise... It might be nicer if they dropped the flavor bits... -- 真実はいつも一つ!/ Always, there's only one truth! _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
