Thanks again! I do have these lines in my fedora-live-base.ks also (that is being called by fedora-live-shunya-30.ks).


# add fedora user with no passwd
action "Adding live user" useradd \$USERADDARGS -c "Live System User" liveuser
passwd -d liveuser > /dev/null
usermod -aG wheel liveuser > /dev/null

That file is where the user creation should be.

I am still on F29 and this is what is in
/usr/share/spin-kickstarts/fedora-live-base.ks:

# add liveuser user with no passwd

liveuser
passwd -d liveuser > /dev/null
usermod -aG wheel liveuser > /dev/null


That's part of the bootup scripts near the bottom of the file.  See what
is in yours.
