Small update (well, actually big update :D). No retirement is happening since python3-urwid{,trees} is also needed for sen, which is my baby and I won't let it go. Given all of that, I just updated python-urwid, python-urwidtrees and alot to their latest upstream versions in rawhide and 30, feel free to test the updates out. All of them are python 3 only.
