As far as I know, rootless containers with podman require populating entries for each user in /etc/sub{uid,gid}, which isn't currently something easy to do if you have your users coming from sssd-ldap or sssd-ad. Those files are updated when using useradd though, but it doesn't scale up to tens of thousands of users, particularly when the user list changes daily. -- Jonathan Billings <billings@xxxxxxxxxx> _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://getfedora.org/code-of-conduct.html List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
