I can't run it for Python, it is quite specific to Golang, as 99.9% of the 
packages use the GitHub backend. Python packages might have a more varied 
backend situation, some with Pypi, other Github and maybe more.

I'm no Python expert, but it should be easy for you to adapt it to your 
situation:

The script takes a folder containing Git repos as input. Ideally from a 
Grokmirror setup.
