Or you could apply the patch conditionally. (But you should NOT put the
Patchn: line under a conditional, only the %patchn line. This implies that
you cannot use %autosetup and have to explicitly apply the patches instead.)

Yeah, it uses %autopath and that could always be changed if the commits need to be merged with other branches...
