The patent license does not cover activities like teaching, technical support and external business meetings. I'm not sure if the MPEG LA has agreements with the actual patent owners which would allow them to license the patents for generic WebRTC use. My understanding is that proprietary video conferencing systems which uses H.264/AVC have same issue: if you want to use them for business purposes (excluding internal meetings and training sessions), you need to obtain licenses from each essential patent owner individually. _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://getfedora.org/code-of-conduct.html List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
