Is there going to be any way to disable this?

I'm a powerline user on Terminal, Tmux and vim, but I don't enable
this in all my boxes.

Please note that not all users use powerline and will not want to have
it enabled or pre-installed by default.

And those who do use it do not have problems installing it, it's a
matter of personal taste.
