There is a new release of gpsd, which breaks the ABI and API of libgps. If there are no objections, I'll build the package on Monday. Most of the changes in the API seem to be extensions, but there is an incompatible change in gps_read(). It has two new arguments. A gps_read(x) call should be equivalent to gps_read(x, NULL, 0) in the new version. The following packages will need to be rebuilt (and probably also patched): collectd-gps-0:5.8.0-16.fc29 direwolf-0:1.5-0.1.beta4.fc30 foxtrotgps-0:1.2.1-1.fc29 gpsd-devel-0:3.17-5.fc29 gpsdrive-0:2.11-47.fc29 marble-widget-qt5-1:18.08.1-1.fc30 plasma-workspace-geolocation-0:5.13.90-1.fc30 qlandkartegt-0:1.8.1-17.fc29 qtgpsc-0:0.3.1-22.fc29 vfrnav-0:20180129-4.fc29 viking-0:1.6.2-7.fc29 xtide-0:2.15.1-6.fc29 -- Miroslav Lichvar _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://getfedora.org/code-of-conduct.html List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
