The BIOS will usually have a configuration which turns it one way or another. If various F keys lower and raise volume or do similar things then the Function keys are turned off and need to be enabled by pressing the Fn key and the function key. [EG its a shift for functions]. In the case of a semi-functioning system try using it so you are needing a vulcan nerve pinch of Control-Alt-Fn-F12 or Control-Alt-Fn-F3 etc. -- Stephen J Smoogen. _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://getfedora.org/code-of-conduct.html List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
