Apparently virt-dib doesn't fundamentally depend on debootstrap so the dependency might be removed or downgraded to Recommends/Suggests. Question: > libguestfs (maintained by: mdbooth, ptoscano, rjones) > libguestfs-1.39.8-1.fc29.src requires debootstrap = 1.0.102-1.fc29 > virt-dib-1.39.8-1.fc29.i686 requires debootstrap = 1.0.102-1.fc29 If we change this from a hard requires to a Recommends or Suggests will that get around the immediate issue? Of course I understand that it won't provide a maintainer for dpkg, but will it stop libguestfs from being blocked?
