It would be cool to have Git tags in dist-git.

There is something very close that I use in the meantime, "fedpkg
gitbuildhash". It queries Koji and prints the dist-git commit sha1 of
a build NVR.

For example:

$ fedpkg gitbuildhash remctl-3.14-2.fc29
6c633d840e4221831f5502c36822a73b0860e5fc
